Pune to Bangalore bus Facilities

Distance between Pune to Bangalore is about 800 km.
The cities are well connected through all the 3 modes i.e., Air, Train & Bus.

But Air travel is always expensive & recent fuel price hike made the fares to go up further.
The trains available are very limited and whenever you logged to book a ticket you end up in waiting list status. And to get a ticket you have to book it 20- 30 days prior to travel…!
And two more problems with trains are inflexibility of time. Train departure timings are like 1.00 AM, 4.00 AM, 8.05 AM & 11.45 AM.
And the travel time is also about 18 to 24 hrs.

But for last moment travel planner Bus ends up as best option.
There are lot of travels operate between Bengaluru & pune such as
KSRTC
VRL
RAJ
SHARMA
NAKODA etc
But with my travel experience KSRTC is the best service provider.
The KSRTC Buses are at times like 3 PM, 7 PM, 9 PM & 10 PM.
KSRTC offers only semi sleeper (presently…!!) with A/C
The fare from Pune to Bengaluru is Rs.923/- & From Bengauru to Pune its Rs. 900/-
I have travelled with 9 PM bus. It will reach bengaluru by around 11.50 AM i.e 15 Hr journey.
The buses are well maintained and service is good. The bus will stop at good hotels for the dinner & breakfast unlike other travels which will take you to any road side dhaba’s. In the Bus you will be provided a water bottle & a face freshener for your face. You will get to watch a Kannada/Hindi movie too.
The bus will be carry only passengers & there is no luggage carrier. So bus will not stop anywhere else other than for food. The bus use to be travelling at 100 KMPH & even more at good roads. The bus will leave the good cars like scorpio, innova too behind, isn’t that good.

The other travels I travelled are through Sharma by Non A/c Semi sleeper & Semi sleeper. The service is very bad. Looks like the bus never been driven more than 40 KMPH.
The buses are at 5.30PM, 7.30 PM & 10.00PM
I traveled through 5.30 PM bus reached B’luru by 2 PM i.e 18.5 Hr
And the there is bus at 10.00 PM which is combination of Semisleeper & sleeper which left at 10.00 PM & reached B’luru by 6 PM i.e.. 18 Hr.

The fare of the bus is about Rs. 600 for Non A/c Semisleeper & 700 for Non A/c Sleeper.

The other travels like VRL & Raj travels are famous for theire service however theire fare is Rs.1200/-
